The fresher the better!

Nook Corner coffee shop is one of the oldest buildings in Anstey, with original features mixed with a contemporary décor. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere and whether you are one of our many regular customers or a first time visitor, you will be made to feel very welcome.

Our coffee is sourced from a local family run business. When it reaches us only days after being roasted, we then freshly grind it for your cup, ensuring the freshest possible taste.

Made to order: 

Expect nothing but the best quality in food, with everything made to order. All of the food on our menu is sourced locally for extra freshness. So whether it’s our ‘All day breakfast’, a Panini or Caesar salad for lunch or our popular ‘high tea’, each meal is freshly prepared and therefore can be adjusted to suit you. We will try and cater for any dietary requirements whether it’s food intolerances, you’re a  dedicated vegan or you are just a bit picky. Please ask and we will do our best to provide you with some options.

On the go? We also provide a range of great food for you to take away.

Homemade treats: 

For Birthdays, thank you’s and those with a sweet tooth, we have some special treats! We make all of our own cakes and truffles, we also sell locally produced fudge in a variety of flavours including: lemon meringue, raspberry ripple and mint choc swirl. The truffles and fudge are available in bags and boxes or can be bought individually. We also can supply these for corporate events and wedding favours.

We are also always adding to our new Deli’s Doggy treats. So not just humans that  can enjoy something delicious. We can make to order doggy donuts, Wuffins and doggy birthday cakes, all with dog friendly ingredients. We can even host a canine birthday party for your pampered pooch and a few of their four legged friends.

Gifts: 

We stock different interesting gifts depending on the season. So it’s always good to pop in and see what new things we have to offer. 
Christmas is our favourite event, festive treats, Turkish delight , handmade chocolates and Lollipops and many individual presents can always be found.

We make hampers to order, just choose the filling and we will do the rest. 

We are close to many major Leicestershire attractions, including:

  • Bradgate Park
  • Swithland Woods
  • Beacon Hill
  • Thornton Reservoir

So if you’re in the area, why not pop in and treat yourself – there is even free parking nearby!

Freshly brewed coffee

All of our coffees are made from freshly ground beans for heightened flavour and we steam the milk for our lattes and cappuccinos to produce a rich and creamy foam. You can find out more about our selection of hot drinks on our menus page.

Testimonial

Sharon catered for a funeral for us last week for 100 people and it was absolutely amazing. The quality and variety of food was outstanding. We were even treated to added extras including homemade mini cheesecakes and meringues on pretty cake stands! I would highly recommend this service and also visiting the nook corner cafe where Sharon continues to be creative, whether it’s hosting ‘gin nights’ or serving great meals and afternoon tea.
